Start with clear expectations
Before beginning support, ask about the consultant’s experience and service scope, the communication channels to be used, any parent or guardian involvement, confidentiality and its limits, fees, scheduling, and how to raise a concern. Individual services for minors require an appropriate service-specific explanation of consent and guardian involvement.
Keep appropriate boundaries
Do not share passwords, financial account access, identification documents, or unnecessary personal details. Use the communication arrangements agreed with the organization. If a request or interaction makes you uncomfortable, pause and speak with a trusted adult or the organizational team.
Raise a concern
When available, use our current contact channel with “Safeguarding concern” in the subject. Give a brief description and a way to contact you. Avoid including sensitive details about a young person in the first message. If your concern involves a particular individual, say that you would like an appropriate alternative contact to handle the discussion.
The general inbox is not an emergency channel and no response time is guaranteed. A young person can also speak with a parent, guardian, school safeguarding contact, or another trusted adult. Reporting a concern to Infinity does not replace contacting the relevant authorities when appropriate.
Immediate danger or crisis
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call 911 for an emergency, or call or text 988 for crisis support. Outside the United States, use local services. Do not wait for an email response.
Photos, stories, and privacy
This website does not publish private client records or identifying testimonials about minors. Any future story, photo, or testimonial must have appropriate permission, including parent or guardian consent where required. Please do not submit other people’s private information through a general inquiry.
